Abstract

[Purpose/significance]The research of humanities and social sciences has distinctive characteristics and diversified results，and its input-output relationship is complex.The research on the input-output and interactive relationship of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities is helpful to understand the characteristics，laws and existing problems of the input-output relationship，and expand the research methods.This study is of great significance to optimize the allocation of funds and talent distribution of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities，and to strengthen the management of humanities and social sciences by relevant government departments.[Method/process]On the basis of theoretical analysis and based on the inter-provincial humanities and social sciences data of the ministry of education，this paper conducts a comprehensive research combining BP artificial neural network，panel data model，panel threshold model and bayesian vector autoregressive model.[Result/conclusion]The research results show：the contribution of research and development personnel to humanities and social sciences is greater than research and development expenditure；the contribution of research and development personnel to the academic paper is greater than the research and development funds；research and development funds contribute more to academic works than research and development personnel；research and development funds and personnel make significant contributions to the research report；the interaction effect between academic papers and academic works is good；the interaction effect between academic papers and research reports is good；the overall research of academic works is relatively independent of the research report.
