Scientific Information Research

Journal of Scientific Information Research is an academic journal sponsored by Hunan Institute of Scientific and Technical Information, which mainly focuses on academic research results with innovation, application and application basis in the field of information. In order to facilitate the review process and the editorial handling of accepted manuscripts, authors are requested to consider the following points when submitting their manuscripts.

  1. Official Website

All manuscripts are subject to review through the editorial website's established review system. This can be accessed via the following links: http://www.eng.kjqbyj.com (English) and http://www.kjqbyj.com (Chinese). All submissions and enquiries should be made via the system.

  1. Formal Requirements

(1) Please note the word count requirement. The total word count of the article should not exceed 15,000 words.

(2) Please provide the title of the paper in both English and Chinese. The title should be brief, clear and attention-grabbing and should not exceed 20 words.

(3) Requirements for authors (in Chinese and English). The names of the authors should be listed in order of their contribution to the paper. There should be no more than six authors. Please ensure that the English names of the authors are written in Hanyu Pinyin.

(4) Requirements for the author's institution (in Chinese and English). The author's institution is provided for the convenience of readers in terms of contact, consultation and communication. It is therefore essential that it is detailed. The author's institution in both English and Chinese must be the full name. Please note that abbreviations and acronyms are not permitted, and the institution's city and postal code must be included.

(5) Requirements for abstract (in Chinese and English). The abstract is a brief, accurate overview of the paper's contents. It should include the study's objective, methodology, findings, and conclusions. The text should be concise and straightforward, with a word count of 200-400 words.

(6)Keywords (in Chinese and English). The keywords should comprise terms that reflect the main content of the paper. It should be limited to three to five .

(7) Author's profile requirements. It is mainly a brief introduction of the author's age, gender, place of origin, education, professional and technical title and research direction, etc. The format author's profile is as follows: author's name, gender, year of birth, the highest academic degree obtained, the highest professional and technical title obtained, the main direction of research, E-mail. Manuscripts are required to attach the author's telephone number and detailed postal address after the author's profile.

(8) Fund project requirements. This journal gives priority to the publication of the fund project analysis. Papers should be submitted in the following format: fund project, project name, subject name (project number).

(9) Reference requirements. The references should be the primary literature that is of value to the dissertation from the latest five years. At least ten references are required. Please refer to the 'Information and Documentation Rules' (GB/T 7714-2015) for further details.

(10) Specific stylistic requirements for submissions are set out in the Model Submission Format.

  1. Review Mechanism

The editorial board has implemented a a triple-review and peer-review system for reviewing manuscripts. The review period is three months. Authors can check the status of their manuscripts via the review system on the editorial board website. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure that the manuscript is complete and free of any missing items before submission. This will help to avoid delays in the review and publication process. Additionally, the contact information of the authors must be provided in the submission system. This will facilitate communication and the distribution of the sample issue.

  1. Other Declarations

(1) Authors certify that their manuscripts are the result of their own or others' collaboration, or that they hold the requisite legal copyrights for the submitted manuscripts. The editorial office reserves the right to pursue all legal and financial liabilities arising from multiple submissions, plagiarism or cases of other misconduct.

(2) The Journal is committed to the principle of self-responsibility. However, it reserves the right to edit and revise all manuscripts received.

(3) The journal has joined China Knowledge Network and other digital networking platforms. All manuscripts published in the journal are simultaneously published online via the Internet..

(4) By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the author is deemed to have accepted the terms set out in this agreement.
