Abstract

[Purpose/significance]Through comparative research on the use of VOSviewer in Chinese and English literature，it provides reference for researchers to better use the software to achieve their research purposes.[Method/process]First，search relevant documents from the Web of Science and CNKI full-text journals database，and then conduct quantitative analysis from four aspects：time，author，subject and research topic.[Result/conclusion]The number of research papers using VOSviewer is increasing；the number of researchers using VOSviewer is growing rapidly；VOSviewer can be applied in different disciplines；VOSviewer is currently mainly used in bibliometric analysis，document visualization，and review research three aspects.
