Abstract
[Purpose/significance]Through comparative research on the use of VOSviewer in Chinese and English literature,it provides reference for researchers to better use the software to achieve their research purposes.[Method/process]First,search relevant documents from the Web of Science and CNKI full-text journals database,and then conduct quantitative analysis from four aspects:time,author,subject and research topic.[Result/conclusion]The number of research papers using VOSviewer is increasing;the number of researchers using VOSviewer is growing rapidly;VOSviewer can be applied in different disciplines;VOSviewer is currently mainly used in bibliometric analysis,document visualization,and review research three aspects.
