Abstract
[Purpose/significance]Data and artifical intelligence empowers information resource management, which has a profound impact on archive data and archive information management, and thus puts forward new requirements for archive practitioners, thus posing new demands for archive education. The archive academia and industry should face such changes and reform archive education.[Method/process]Starting from the positioning of archival science in the first level discipline of information resource management, based on the analysis of the empowering role of data and artifical intelligence technology and environment in information resource management, this paper explores the direction of archival management reform, and then proposes strategies for archival education reform.[Result/conclusion]Data and artifical intelligence technology empowers information resource management methods and data and artifical intelligence environment empowers information resource management objects, resulting in changes in archive management with "archive data" and "archive information" as the main objects. The management objects and resource content begin to extend, the value of archive data resources is improved, and the deep development of archive data resources oriented towards digital memory is valued, Therefore, it is necessary for archival education to "create new courses", "emphasize foundations", "strengthen applications", "expand widely", and "refine skills", and promote the reform of archival education.
