Abstract

[Purpose/significance]With the promulgation and implementation of The National Intellectual Property Strategy Compendium，great progress has been made in intellectual property in Colleges and universities.The rapid growth of patents puts forward new requirements for scientific research management. [Method/process]In this paper，we select some local representative colleges and universities in Hunan Province，PatSnap patent database and FineReport data analysis platform are used to analyze the patent status of each university in terms of application，authorization，patent type distribution，global distribution，invalid patent，transfer and transformation.[Result/conclusion]According to the analysis，there are some problems in Hunan Province at present，such as high invalidation rate，short life cycle，less global layout，low transfer conversion rate，etc.In this paper，some suggestions on patent management and achievement transformation are given.
