Abstract

[Purpose/significance]Fact constitutes the main content of intelligence product,and the expression of fact is an important means of intelligence writing.To study the characteristics of fact expression is helpful to improve the level of intelligence writing and the quality of intelligence product.[Method/process]Through conceptual analysis and logical reasoning,this paper carries out basic theoretical research on the following aspects:the understanding of the connotation of fact,the relationship between fact and intelligence writing,the main forms of fact in intelligence writing,and the way of fact expression,etc.[Result/conclusion]The fact of intelligence writing include “thing” and “situation”,and there are two ways，that is,the expression of factual intelligence and the expression of factual materials.There are different forms of facts in intelligence writing, such as object facts,subject facts and declarative facts,facts and non-facts,facts and opinions,and we should pay attention to the distinction between them.The expression of fact should conform to the objective reality, the value of intelligence is the only basis for selecting and measuring fact,and the function of fact in intelligence writing should be rationally understood.
